KARACHI: Army defeated Lahore’s Wohaib FC 1-0 in their Group C match of the National Under-22 Football tournament at the Dring Stadium in Bahawalpur on Monday.Nisar Ahmad hit the winner in the 81st minute.
This second consecutive loss put Wohaib FC out of the tournament.
Meanwhile, in a Group B game, National Youth, who had won the Under-16 SAFF Cup title in Nepal last year, was held to a goalless draw by Nushki’s Baloch FC.
