Sahiwal retain title: outkick NWFP on penalties |

Karachi, 9 March : Sahiwal took advantage during penalty shoot-out and clinched 12th National U14 Festival of Football. The final was played on Tuesday with Sahiwal and NWFP locked 0-0 at Islamabad’s Jinnah Stadium and the team from Punjab came out victorious 4-3 on tie-break session. It was second time running both the teams entered the final and Sahiwal were victorious on both occasion. Sahiwal were also triumphant at MTFA Lahore last year, winning by 1-0. Earlier in third place match at Jinnah stadia, Balochistan outkicked Afghan FC 5-1 on penalties to win bronze medal. It was 1-1 after full time. |

Lahore, 8 March: NWFP will take on Sahiwal in the final of 12th National U14 Festival of Football on Tuesday, 9 March tomorrow at Islamabad’s Jinnah Stadium (3 PM Kick off). The chief guest of the final will be Federal Sports Secretary Anisul Hasnain Mousavi. |
