Bangladesh reclaimed the coveted football gold medal of the SA Games after a span of 11 years with a facile 4-0 victory over Afghanistan in the final held at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Monday. Atikur Rahman Mishu, Enamul Huq, Abdul Baten Komol and Towhidul Alam Sobuj struck for the champions who dominated all the way through and presented the host country the 18th gold medal of the meet. Bangladesh wrapped their campaign with the gold medal believed to be the most precious of the sports extravaganza.

Lahore, 8 Feb: Quetta Green remained unbeaten in the six-match Quetta Centre and joined Sargodha, Sahiwal in Super Six of PFF Youth U14 Cup. The Champions of Karachi, Peshawar and Lahore Centre will join them on Tuesday. The drawn game between Quetta Yellow-Quetta Red paved the way for Green to enter last six, as well as chance to play in the coming 12th National U14 Football Championship.
