Lahore, 2 July : “Our team will be known as PMC Club Athletico Faisalabad soon. We had sent the documents for Amendment in name to Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) after General Council Meeting of the Club where it was decided that in order to give more exposure to the club, adoption of new name is required. The new name has been approved and entered in draws of KASB Pakistan Premier Football League 2009,” this is stated by Punjab Medical College (PMC) Club Athletico’s President Rai Saif Ur Rehman Bhatti. |

Lahore, 1 July : Balochistan United's fast-moving front-runner Riffat Mehdi once again proved her repute as the best finisher in Pakistan’s Women soccer when she became leading scorer of second National Women Football Club Championship. Her 21 goals, half of Balochistan United’s 42 in four matches, proved too good for any other player of 14 competing teams. She also created new record - overtaking Chiniot-born Shabana Kausar (WP Club) who managed 15 goals in first edition last year. |

Lahore, 1 July : Maudoudi FC enter the final of NBP Lahore Football Championship when they outclassed Nishat FC 4-1 at Punjab University Old Campus Ground, Lahore. The winner led 2-0 at interval with goals by Shafi and Khurram. The winners added more goals in the second session through Shafi and Mazhar while loser replied through Ghufran. |
