Wapda beat Hazara Girls FA 17-0 in their Group ‘A’ match of the 2021 National Women’s Football Championship at the KMC Stadium on Tuesday, 3 March.
Sanober scored the highest number of goals for the last year’s semi-finalists, netting the ball four times. Mehnaz Shah scored a late hat-trick while Maria Khan chipped in with a brace.
The remaining goals were scored by Shanzay Nazir, Sahar Zaman, Fatima Ansari, Zahra, Juni, Kainat, Rafia Parveen and Zahra Shah.
This was the only game of the day after Group B’s matches were postponed due to a potential COVID-19 outbreak among its teams.
