The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Normalisation Committee announced the cancellation of the ongoing 2021 National Women’s Football Championship in Karachi yesterday, 26 March.
The cancellation was due to a hostile takeover of PFF House by the Syed Ashfaq Hussain Shah faction that evicted PFF Normalisation Committee chairman Haroon Malik and staff, and took control of all PFF matters.
The NWFC 2021 was supposed to begin its quarterfinals stage today, 27 March as well as continuing its development stage matches for other teams.
