The last remaining group stage matches from 12th National Women’s Football Championship 2020 were held in Karachi on 7 January.
At KPT Stadium, Zulfiya’s freekick helped Punjab beat defending champs Army 1-0 and top Group A. Diya FC beat Karachi Kickers 3-0 in a consolation win in Group B thanks to goals from Rabia, Uroosa, and Ameera.
At the Karachi United Stadium, Mishal’s freekick helped JAFA Soccer Academy beat Gilgit Baltistan 1-0 for their own consolation win in Group A. Later, WAPDA edged Karachi United thanks to a late goal from Dua to top Group B.
So semi finals will be WAPDA vs Army and Punjab vs Karachi United.
