KARACHI: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) consultant on Thursday completed assessment of the damages to the Pakistan Football Federation’s (PFF) headquarters in Lahore.
The PFF on Thursday claimed that Malaysian Phoon Yoke Heng, who is the AFC infrastructure consultant, was shocked to see the damage caused to the PFF’s infrastructure.
“He worked for two consecutive days and held several meetings with general secretary Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi and director projects Major (R) Jahangir Lodhi,” the PFF said.
The federation said that Phoon would submit the assessment report to the AFC for the release of special grant of 300,000 US dollars already sanctioned by the continental body on the request of Faisal Saleh Hayat, the PFF president.
The PFF claims that the headquarters got damaged badly during the last three years of occupation by its rival group.
