Karachi: World Group’s Leisure Leagues has taken Karachi by storm since its formal commencement earlier this year. A total of 20 matches were held across multiple venues in the city with some thrilling results.
At 16 Star Ground in Federal B Area, four matches were decided in the Premier Division. Stealth Orions beat Khanate FC 4-0 thanks to braces from Wasiq and Areeb. Targaryens FC edged Cerberus FC 1-0 thanks to Hamza’s lone strike. Alfalah FC beat Wolverine FC 2-0 thanks to Haider and Faheed. Royal FC and Shaka FC played a 1-1 draw with goals from Taha and Huzaifa.
At same venue, Division 1 matches saw Ronaldinho Fans beat Athletic Karachi CF 1-0 thanks to Farhan Amjad’s sole goal. Young Fighter and Rising FC played a 1-1 draw thanks to Ali and Nadeem scoring for either side. United FC thrashed Nishan e Haider 5-0.
Premier Division matches at Karachi United Stadium in Clifton saw Vardy FC beat Inter United 4-0 with Ammad, Hammad, Mufaz, and Ahmed each scoring once for winners. Targaryens United hammered Fallout Boys 8-1 with hat-tricks for Ibrar and Usama, while Saman and Hammad scored once. Inter Real Hustler FC beat Ravens United and Back Street Boys beat Syed Spurs with identical 5-0 scores.
The Div 1 matches saw TNT FC thrash Dawn Breakers 9-0 with 4 goals from Hamza Younas, braces for Syed Rehman and Azlan, and a goal for Hashir. Hilal FC beat Taqat FC 2-1 thanks to Moiz and Ibrahim scoring to other side’s Jahanzeb. Karachilona beat KDA FC 6-0 thanks to Ahmed Ali hat-trick and goals from Rizwan, Qazi, and Hisham. Bwoyz FC edged Shadman United Jrs 3-2 with Lowai Mustafa scoring twice and Burhan Tapal scoring once for winners while Uzaifa and Fahad scoring for losing side.
KMC Stadium matches saw Zama Pakhtunyam thrashed Bath Island 6-0 with Aryan Khan hat-trick and further goals from Umar Khan, Moiz Rafiq, and Rafay Abbas. Premier Division matches at Rahat Stadium in DHA saw Red Devils shocked Karachi futsal champions Abdul FC 2-0 with goals from Aneeq and Shahmir. Joga Bonito FC beat FC Rajput 2-1 thanks to a brace from Rawal overcoming losing side’s lone goal by Sameer Javed. Hascol Petro Ltd edged Shah 7 thanks to Uzair’s long goal 1-0. Panna FC thrashed Roja Bonito 3-0 thanks to Fahad Tariq (2) and Umar Saeed’s goals.
Referees were Javed Bangash, M Shamim, Bashir Baloch, Rehman, Habibullah, Zakir Khan, Syed Yasir Ali, Asad Yousaf, and Ameer Ahmed with match supervisors Syed Nasir Ali, Syed Khurshid Ali Shah, Asad Nizam, and Zubair Abdul Malik.
