QUETTA, March 16, 2017: As the qualifying round of the PPL Balochistan Football Cup 2017 draw close to an end, Loralai, Sibi and Khuzdar emerged as winners on the sixth day of the tournament.
Loralai won the match against Sherani with 1-0, Sibi took a lead against Harnai with 2-1 and Khuzdar won against Washuk with 3-2. The match between Chagai versus Quetta went into draw with each team scoring one goal.
Mukhtar Azad from Gwadar, Mohammad Ayaz from Zhob, Mohammad Arif from Sibi and Shafiullah from Kalat were declared the ‘Man of the Match’ for their respective district matches.
Teams at all districts are struggling to qualify for the Final round to commence from March 20. The two semi-final will be played on March 31 followed by the final on April 2. at the Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium (Malibagh), Quetta.
Subsequent to the successful PPL Balochistan Football Cup 2016, PPL is proud to host the tournament again. The company aims to engage local youth in healthy recreation through football, which is the most popular sport in the province.
The event is being organized in collaboration with Government of Balochistan, Pakistan Football Association and Balochistan Football Association.
