PFF dismisses four officials [The News]

KARACHI: Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) dismissed four employees on Tuesday, sources told ‘The News’.

They are manager competitions and development Rauf Bari, group coordinator Shams Pervaiz, manager IT Mohammad Amin, and manager clubs Faisal.

Faisal had the additional charge of director member associations and projects after removal of Col Farasat Ali Shah, who had fallen out with PFF in the wake of PFA elections.

“We were told in office today by PFF secretary Col Lodhi to go home,” one of the removed officials said. “We have not been given any reason for our dismissal,” he said.

Col Lodhi refused to talk about this latest development. “It is our internal affair. We are trying to settle our problems. You can’t imagine what critical situation we are in,” he asserted.
