PFF claims AFC ex-co endorsed its election [The News]

KARACHI: Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) on Sunday claimed that the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Executive Committee in Manama on Saturday had endorsed its elections.

“Besides discussion on other agenda points, the AFC EXCO endorsed the elections in four countries including Pakistan, Sri Lanka, North Korea and Maldives,” a PFF press release said.

It added that the AFC executive committee congratulated Faisal Saleh Hayat on his re-election as the PFF president.

It was the first meeting of the newly-elected AFC executive committee of which Faisal is also a member.
