Pakistan’s football is moving into right direction: AFC Development officer Essam Alsuhibani

“The PPL Clubs are positively cooperating and we see a bright future of football in Pakistan. Pakistan’s football is moving into the right direction,” said AFC’s Essam during the AFC Kick-off programme in Lahore.

AFC is focused to help PFF and PPL clubs under the Umbrella of “AFC KICK OFF” Development Programme  to promote football from all aspects. I am highly satisfied with the steps PFF is taking for all levels development of the game in Pakistan” Essam said in his statement who is in Pakistan to hold a CLUB LICENSING Seminar for the Pakistan Premier League clubs under AFC Kick off programme.

Earlier a Kick off seminar was held at PFF, opened by Retd. Col Farasat Ali Shah (Director MA’s & Clubs) and participated by the Premier League Clubs. Essam, AFC development officer, addressing to the clubs’ representatives gave a detailed introduction of the AFC Kick OFF programme elaborated its benefits and the obligation on clubs to implement the regulations mentioned in the Programme named as Club Licensing Regulation consisting of certain criterias which the PPL clubs have to meet before the Pakistan Premier League 2015.

It followed by a detailed presentation by Shahid Khokhar, Manager Clubs Development and Media PFF, about the club licensing criterias which the PPL clubs have to meet, time lines for each process and all what the clubs
to fulfill the requirements of PPL season 2015.  He said that the core objective of this programme is to give a new moderate face to the top level league in Pakistan and AFC and PFF are there to fully support the PPL clubs so that they could implement these Club Licencing Regulations before PPL 2015. Shahid also elaborated the media plan for the coming PPL season 2015.

In the end Fahad Khan, Manager Marketing and Integrity PFF, explained a comprehensive marketing strategy regarding the Pakistan Premier League and for the PPL clubs particularly and for the team players in general. He said that we need to adopt the latest strategies to make the PPL and clubs a sellable product. He said that we have made a concrete workable plan to brand and market the PPL season 2015 and corporate sector is taking interest to support the League for which now we have to bring certain changes and make our league corporate and fans friendly.

After that a detailed question & answer session was held in which all the PPL clubs participated vibrantly where Mr Essam, Shahid Khokhar and Fahad Khan answered the questions relevant to their deprtments.
