In the latest FIFA rankings issued for the month of May, Pakistan rose to 159 from 161, despite not playing any International games in April.
The Pak Shaheens last played a friendly in February against Lebanon but have still moved two places forward ahead of SAFF rivals Bangladesh, but share their 159 position with Nepal, while Afghanistan leads the region at 128.
