Mohammad Adil cast headlines all over Pakistan after signing for Kyrgz giants FC Dordoi Bishkek earlier this year. And the winger has been impressive at the capital club, scoring and creating goals for fun, and endearing himself to fans in the process.

“FC Dordoi Bishkek has been a very rewarding experience for me. I am developing well here and the level of football in Kyrgyzstan is very good and the National League is also a professional one. Our main goal here is to reach the Asian Champions League but we will focus in the AFC Cup for now,” Adil said while talking to fc-dordoi.kg.

After departing Pakistan, diet could have been a potential problem for Adil, but the midfielder reckons that the tasty national dish Pilaf is a particular favourite of his and he also enjoys grabbing a slice of pizza or two when possible.

“The national dishes are very tasty. I love Pilaf, but also like to order pizza and meat dishes,” revealed the Khairpur native.

Casting the light on the football side of things, Adil claimed that winning the Super Cup set the standard for his team and they were unlucky to have lost to the reigning champions Olay Ash in the League.

“Yes, that was a great experience. Winning the Super Cup was a great feeling. I won the league three times with KRL in Pakistan and I wanted to continue winning here with FC Dordoi Bishkek. We lost one of our players and played with ten men after five minutes of play! But we played well and Alay Osh are a tough team to beat.”

Lastly, the youngster offered an unbiased opinion of Kyrgyzstan and claimed that he had grown fond of his surroundings.

“In general, I love Kyrgyzstan. This is a beautiful countr,” Adil was quoted as saying to fc-dordoi.kg.
