FPDC Exclusive: Hajra Khan moving from Diya to BU

Exclusively speaking to FootballPakistan.Com Vice Captain – Pakistan National Women’s Football team Hajra Khan reveals hat she is leaving her parent club „Diya Women Football Club“ with immediate effect.

„It’s time to seek a new challenge!“ Hajra told FPDC while speaking from Karachi.

While explaing the reasons for her move she says that „I have had several offers during the years at Diya and declined them all because of my loyalty. But now I need to see what’s best for my footballing career with the limited chances within Pakistan.“

Hajra is moving to Balochistan United Women Football Club which are national vice champions and recently lost the final of the National Women’s Football Championship held in Lahore. The Club is run by Rubina Irfan which is Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) women’s wing chairperson.

„We are really looking forward to welcome Hajra at our club. With her massive experience she will be a real boost for our attack.“, Rubina Irfan told FPDC.

“I’m looking forward to playing for Balochistan United and hope to succeed with the same passion. Diya’s a club I’ve played six years for. I have quite a few friends there and I wish them the best.” Concludes Khan.

BU will be looking forward to having Shahlyla Baloch and Hajra Khan as their strikers. This shows their serious ambition for the next national championship.
