Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) president JS Blatter has appreciated Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) for the continuation of its fruitful efforts being done for the development of football at all levels in Pakistan despite of certain hindrances.
He expressed these views during a meeting with PFF president Fasial Saleh Hayat on the side-lines of the FIFA strategic committee held on Friday in Marrakesh, Morocco. “Pakistan is very prominent among the emerging football Nations in the Asia” said FIFA chief during the meeting.” He has also praised the present regime of the PFF for taking number of steps and introducing a number of reforms for better growth of football in Pakistan.
He especially mentioned that he was very excited and happy when Pakistan was awarded AFC ‘Aspiring’ MA Award of the Year 2013 in November in his presence which is a strong indication and clear reflection of the sincere
struggle of the PFF Chief for the Development of Football in Pakistan”.
He also admired the productive contribution of PFF President in Asia and at world level as the member of FIFA strategic Committee, Member of AFC Executive Committee and Chairman AFC Legal Committee. During the FIFA Strategic Meeting chaired by JS Blatter himself, important football development matters were deliberated and approved including FIFA reforms Process, Match Manipulation, Racism, Use of Technology for Goal Line and disciplinary matters and anti Grouping measures. The implementation of these decisions will ensure transparency and fair play in this global game of football.
