KARACHI: Pakistan football team’s Bahraini coach Mohammed Shamlan had a meeting with the Karachi-based Marta Women Football Club’s President Raees Khan at a local hotel the other day.
During an hour-long meeting, the two discussed various issues relating to women football in Pakistan.
Shamlan said that women football could develop in Pakistan if quality coaches were provided to teams.
“There may be talent but it is necessary to have quality coaches. One cannot develop a team without a qualified and quality coach,” Shamlan said. Raees also presented his club’s souvenir to the coach.
