Inter Rovers Football tournament is organized on yearly basis from 2007. Rovers Senior , Juniors and ex player take part in this prestigious tournament . Purpose of this tournament is to polish new talent and introduce young players to senior player and also provide exposure to senior players how to captain and lead their team. In this version of RPL, there are 4 teams taking part. Lal Muhammadan (Champions – Captain : Irfan Junejo), Galacticos – (Captain Osama Noor), Mario Brothers (Captain – Usman Javed) , Debain Black (Captain – Talha Khalid). Opening Match was played between Defending champions Lal Muhammadan and Debain Black. Cheif guests were Khursheed Anwar (Country Security Manager – DHL) , Brigadier (R) Salahuddin (President MDRA), other honourable guest were Khalid Latif (Pakistan International Cricketer), Mobin Pirzada (Sports Secretary – MDRA), Col. Ameer Malik (President SDRA).
Chief guest Khursheed Anwar said it is good to see healthy activity and young players involved in management as well taking part in this well organized event. He also praised work of Mr. Khalid Majeed and his efforts to promote football and Rovers playing a pivotal role in indulging youth in this healthy activity.
In the Opening match Debain Black beat defending champions 3-2. Scorer were Usman Asad, Shoaib Khalid, Ahsan Jamil from Debain black while from Lal Muhammadan Ahmer Khan , Hamza Ibrahim.
First Half : Hamza Opened at 13 Mins and then Ahmer scored at 35 mins. While Usman Asad scored from a long range shoot just before half time 40 mins.
Second Half: Shoaib scored at 25 mins and then Ahsan Jamil scored at 35 mins.
FINAL SCORE : 3 -2 (Debain Black WIN)
