KARACHI: International striker Shakir Lashari’s treble guided Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) to a thumping 3-1 victory over Gwadar Port Authority in their match of the All Pakistan Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Football tournament at the Muhammadi Stadium in Memon Goth, Malir, on Monday.
Shakir, the PIA player who is representing SSGC as a guest player, struck in 45th, 53rd and 65th minutes. Mohammad Naeem netted the only goal for Gwadar Port Authority in the 58th minute.
Meanwhile, District Football Association (DFA) West crushed Pakistan Air Force (PAF) 3-0 with Adnan Sakhi, Waseem Gul and Sarmad Jaffar scoring one goal apiece for the winners in 16th, 38th and 52nd minutes, respectively. On Tuesday, Gwadar Port Authority will meet DFA West, while SSGC will lock horns with PAF.
