Baloch Mujahid record win in KFL

Baloch Mujahid FC (Ibrahim Hyderi) climbed to the top of the table in the 10th Aman Sports Karachi Football League 2013 with a thrilling 3-2 win over DG Rangers Football Cup winners Azam Sports (Drigh Road).

The Baloch Mujahid Stadium saw the hosts race to 2-0 up by half time thanks to goals from Salal Raza and Muhammad Hanif. Azam Sports fought back to make it 2-2 with goals from Waseem Ullah and M Tahir in 2nd half.

However, Azam Sports went to 10 men with 15 minutes left after defender Jehanzeb was sent off. Baloch Mujahid used their man advantage well as Umar Bakhsh scored with 5 minutes left to win the game 3-2 for Baloch Mujahid at the end.

The win helped Baloch Mujahid rake up 6 points from 2 games to top the KFL table.

Karachi United and Al-Shabaz encounter ended 1-1 draw in the 10th Karachi Football League 2013 at Baloch Mujahid Stadium, Ibrahim Hydri here on Monday night, 15 April 2013.

Karachi United star striker Rehan Munir took lead first in 8th min but AlShabaz striker Abdullah leveled the scored in the 41st minute. Both the teams played well but could not score further at final whistle and share one point. Karachi United opened their account with one point and Al-Shabaz 2 points from 2 games. Karachi United and Irfan Memorial encounter abandoned due to electricity failure.
