1st Ali Asghar Memorial Football Tournament started today at Gulshan Ravi ground saw Babish FC and Mohammadan FC record wins.
In the opening match of the event Babish FC beat Roma FC 3-2, while Mohammadan FC outplayed Ideal FC to register a 3-1 victory.
The 10-a side football tournament is being organised by Lahore based coach Sheikh Mohammad Siddique Qadri.
Four matches will take place on Sunday with Flying Eagles FC taking on Iraj FC at 10:00 am, followed by Aitchison FC vs Real Lahore FC 12 noon.
The afternoon games will see Baba Cargo face Afshan FC at 2:00 pm and the final game of the day will see hosts Gulshan Ravi FC take ok Samnabad FC at 4:00pm.
All the matches will be played at Gulshan Ravi Football Ground.
