KUSC: St Pats win opening game, Aga Khan School hammer Indus

St. Patrick’s High School defeated Spring Field School 7-1 in the opening match of the 8th Karachi United School Championship 2013 in Group “D” at KMC Stadium.
St. Patrick’s striker Muzammil Afzal scored the first hat-trick of the event when he netted the ball in the 13th,21st,48th & 59th minutes followed by three more goals from fellow strikers Asfar 14th, Hamdoon 39th & Umer Kidwai 45th minutes. S.M. Maaz reduced the margin.
Earlier International Footballer and National Champion KRL Team Manager Mr. Ayaz Butt introduced with the players and inaugurated the tournament by kicking the ball. On the occasion FIFA Referee Mr. Ahmed Jan, Ex National Player of Sindh Government Press, Organising Secretary Riaz Ahmed and others are also present.
In the other match of the day in Group ‘C’ Aga Khan Higher Secondary School outclassed The Indus Academy 16-0. Yasir Shah scored individually 11 goal with triple hat- rick  in the 12th, 13th, 15th, 21st, 26th, 40th, 41st, 44th, 46th, 55th, & 58th minutes while Ahmed 2nd, Wahid 14th, Iftikhar 25th, Shaz 52nd and Own Goal 56th minutes.
3rd Match of the Day Army Public School awarded a walkover on Group ‘C’  against Lecole School they didn’t come at ground on scheduled time.
In Group “B” match played at Aga Khan Gymkhana Football Ground, Garden West Cardoba School thrilling win over BVS Parsi School 2-0. The match remained goal less at half time. However, Hamza Younis 46th and Shahzeb Saleem 51st scored for Cardoba School and got three valuable points for his team.
The matches were supervised by Referees Abdul Karim, Abdul Malik, Saleem Faiz, Farrukh Riaz, Abrar Ahmed, Saleem Hussain and Mohammad Rizwan while Mohammad Shamim and Khalid Majeed as the Match Commissioner.
