The 8th Karachi United Schools Championship 2013 saw the completion of 4 more group games yesterday 14 January 2013 at Aga Khan Gymkhana Ground in Garden West, Karachi.
Defending KUSC champions Nixor College annihilated Beaconhouse Clifton campus 14-0 in Group A. Rayyan Pervez’s 4 goals, Muhammad Ali Shah’s 3 goals, braces by Sohaib Afridi and Shahriyar Saleem, as well as a goal from Asad Iqbal and Muzammil Farishta helped the defending champs breeze past hapless BSS Clifton.
In Group B, The City School PAF Chapter – finalists of the 7th KUSC last year – beat fellow TCS side Darkhshan campus 6-0 with ease. Shabir Ali, Muhammad Afridi (2), Daniyal Naeem (2), and Atta Malik scored for TCS PAF.
In Group E, Southshore edged Beaconhouse North Nazimabad 1-0 thanks to Nabeel Baloch’s lone goal. At KMC Stadium, Lyceum School beat British Overseas School 4-0 in Group H. Minhas Sabir scored a hat-trick while Rehan Alauddin also joined the scorers list with a goal to his name.
