KARACHI: Railways recorded a convincing 3-1 triumph against PTV to confirm their place in the ‘Group of Five Round’ of Pakistan Football Federation League at Railways Football Stadium in Lahore on Friday.
Railway’s Atif Hameed was on fire during the match and scored a hat-trick for his team. Jalal-ud-Din scored the only goal for PTV in the match.
With the win, Railways finished on top in Group “D” of Departmental Leg and qualified for ‘Group of Five Round’.
Meanwhile, the match between HEC and Faisalabad’s Bhatti United ended in a 1-1 draw at Fame Football Ground in Lahore. Muhammad Asif scored for HEC while Muhammad Junaid produced the equalizer for Bhatti United during the injury time.
HEC has finished second in Group D behind Railway and have also qualified for the ‘Group of Five Round’.
