The 32nd National Games 2012 saw results from its football events in Lahore over last few days (23-24 December 2012)
In men’s football, WAPDA overwhelmed Police 4-2 with international striker Arif Mehmood scoring a hat-trick. Police are the other team in the three-team competitions being held under single league basis. Police had defeated Punjab 2-0 on Sunday.
In the women’s section, WAPDA were shocked by young Punjab with a goalless draw, while Higher Education Commission (HEC) played a 1-1 draw against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Punjab had held HEC to a goalless draw On Sunday, while WAPDA had edged past KP 1-0.
