The Pak Afghan Clearing Agency (PACA) team from Chaman qualified for the ‘Group of Five Round’ of the 9th PFF League 2012 (B-Division) yesterday 20 November 2012 after drawing 1-1 with Bahawalpur’s Ashraf Sugar Mills.
The Department Phase game at All Brothers Stadium in Malir (Karachi) saw PACA take the lead after 11 minutes through Abdul Hadi’s goal. Ashraf Sugar Mills replied with a goal from Muhammad Azeem Abbas half-way through the game, but the Millers’ quest for a win were jeopardised with defender Waseem Anjum getting sent-off for a red card in 55th minute.
PACA held on for a draw at the end to get the crucial point they needed to qualify for next round.
Today, Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) face Gwadar Port Authority (GPA) in another department phase game to be held at Korangi Baloch Stadium in Sharafi Goth, Karachi.
