Serbian youth side FK Bor, a former team of current Pakistan coach Zavisa Milosavljevic, made it to the final of Chief Minister Punjab Football Cup 2012, when they beat Punjab Green by 2-1 in a match played at Punjab Football Stadium, Lahore.
Punjab Green took the lead in the 5th min when Arif Mehmood (WAPDA) latched on to a long ball & scored with a right footed volley. At interval Punjab were leading 1-0. The Punjab Green side is a mix of players from WAPDA and KRL and replaced April 25 Club of North Korea at last minute.
After the breather the Serbs equalized when Dejan Masic scored from a goal mouth scramble.
The Serbs got their 2nd & decisive goal in the 77th min when Milos Stanojevic scored with a fierce left foot shot. With two consecutive victories, the Serbians have qualified for the final.
The chief guest for the game was PML-N MNA from Lahore, Naseer Ahmed Bhutta, who met both teams during the break.
