PFF shortlists 25 for SAFF Women Championship squad

Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has shortlisted the probables to 25 from 33 players for a final selection after Eid Holidays in the build up for the national women football team to appear in the 2nd SAFF Women National Football Championship 2012, Colombo, Sri Lanka from September 7-17.

According to the press release issued here by PFF, the camp that commenced on August 4 at Model Town Football Academy, Model Town, Lahore will conclude on September 5, 2012 of which eight players  are dropped today, making it 25.

The camp is under watchful eyes of coaching staff comprising of U.F Tariq Lutfi, KRL (Coach), Muhammad Rasheed, Pakistan Railway (Assistant Coach), Kiran Ilyas Ghouri, Institute of Special Education (Assistant Coach), Uzma Yousaf Zaidi, Lahore School of Economics (Manager/Assistant Coach) and Nadeem Abdul Rehman (Goal Keeper Coach).

The 25 players currently in the camp are :
Malika Noor (Eagle WFC), Roshnan Ali (Eagle WFC), Mejzgaan Orkazai (Islamabad), Nadia Bhatti (Islamabad), Abiha Haider (Islamabad), Nidda Awan Goalkeeper (Islamabad), Syeda Mahpara Shahid Bukhari, Goal Keeper (Young Rising Star WFC), Sana Mahmud (Young (Rising Star WFC), Sahar Zaman (Young Rising Star WFC), Asmara Habib (Young Rising Star WFC), Ayeza Waheed (Young Rising Star WFC), Bushra Jamali (Young Rising Star WFC), Asmaa Usman Butt (WAPDA), Mehwish Khan (WAPDA), Rafia Perveen (WAPDA), Shagufta Akhter (WAPDA),  Humera Nazir (WAPDA), Ishrat Fatima (Sports Sciences WFC), Hajra Khan (Diya WFC), Afshan Altaf (Diya WFC), Shahlyla Baloch (Balochistan United WFC), Sohaila Zarrian (Balochistan United WFC), Shahida Raza (Balochistan United WFC), Qibtia Jamshaid (Sports Sciences WFC) and Batool Ronaq Naqvi (LSE WFC).
