Coaching course concludes in Karachi

KARACHI: A three-month long football coaching course concluded here at the Malir Football Stadium on Monday, 23 July 2012.

The course was held under the auspices of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) and was sponsored by the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Youth Development Programme.

Sindh Secretary Youth Affairs Shoaib Siddiqui graced the closing ceremony and gave away certificates to the participants.

The participants included Farooq, Arslaan, Atif, Khurram Shehzad, Mohammad Asif, Mohammad Arshad, Mohammad Younis, Mohammad Nadeem, Mohammad Sohail, Murad Ali, Salman Brohi, Shah Rukh, Syed Wajahat and Umair Saghir.

Siddiqui said youth is the asset of the country and the role of young blood has always been vital in sports.

He said that the coaches who have passed through a marathon course would now be able to play a key role in football development.
