Pak U22 leave for Bangkok today, Exclusive Pics

KARACHI: In order to prepare for the Asian Cup Qualifiers, Pakistan Under-22 football team will leave for Thailand on Saturday (today) evening.

Eighteen players and five officials will leave for Bangkok on a training tour during which they will play four practice matches against the Thailand’s Under-22 team.

Kaleemullah, Mohammad bin Younis, Junaid Qadir and Faisal Iqbal have not yet received their visas and will go once they have visas, a top official of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) told ‘The News’ on Friday.

The squad also has France-based Malik Mohammad Human Ali. Coach Zavisa Milosavljevic said that Waleed Nadeem from Scotland would join the team in Bangkok. Pakistan will play matches on April 16, 19, 22 and 25.

Zavisa said that the decision about the captain would be taken on Monday in Thailand.
