The 9th Karachi Football League 2011-12 Super League phase at Baloch Mujahid Stadium, Ibrahim Hydri (Karachi) saw Karachi United FC commanding 2-0 win over defending KFL champions Baloch Youth (Garden) yesterday 19th April, 2012.
Karachi United started the game well with Rehan Munir coming close to scoring from Shahrukh Chaudhry pass in 10th minute. Rehan Munir then made it 1-0 for Karachi United in 20th minute from Kareem Kerai pass as Baloch Youth struggled in opening exchanges. Shahrukh Chaudhry doubled the lead in the 41st minute when combined move between Kareem Kerai and Shahrukh Chaudhry comes to end.
Baloch Youth tried to equalise in 2nd half but their strikers Talal Ayub, Saramad Jaffer, Habibullah and Yousuf failed to test Karachi United International goalkeeper Mohammad Shazad. Baloch Youth almost reduced the margin in 55th and 67th minute but Talal Ayub and Saramad Jaffer kicks saved by defenders Hamza Khan and Moiz Salah uddin from vacant post. Saramad Jaffer again missed a chance for Baloch Youth in 80th minute when only opponent goalkeeper Mohammad Shazad in front of him
Karachi United’s striker Rehan Munir missed a golden opportunity in the 71st minue when he dribbled two opponent players but failed to score in vacant post his kick went out from the side bar. Kareem Kerai and Bendict Plant also missed chances in the 82nd and 89th minute respectively. Karachi United maintained their lead till the final whistle 2-0.
Baloch Youth completed their quota of 7 matches have 11 points while Karachi United have also 11 points from 5 games. Kalri Star Lyari 13 points, Korangi Baloch Sharafi 12, Karachi United 11, Baloch Youth Garden 11, Al-Shabaz 8 points from 6 games, Burma Mohammaden 5 points from 5 games while Irfan Memorial on the bottom with one point from 6 games.

Al-Shabaz Korangi will face Burma Mohammedan Korangi on 21.04.2012 at Korangi Baloch Stadium Sharafi.
