The 9th Karachi Football League 2011-12 Super League phase saw Kalri Star (Lyari) and home side Korangi Baloch (Sharafi) battle to a 3-3 draw yesterday, 7 April 2012.
The result at Korangi Baloch Stadium in Sharafi, Karachi saw both sides share 1 point each after a thoroughly entertaining game. Kalri Star went 2-0 up in first 16 minutes when Muhammad bin Lal scored just after the start before M Asif doubled the score. Abdul Jabbar Jr. of Korangi Baloch managed to make it 2-1 before half-time. Aurangzeb then scored again to make it 3-1 for Kalri Star, before Asghar Ali and Abdul Hafeez scored to equalise in final 12 minutes to salvage a 3-3 draw for Korangi Baloch.
Akhtar Ali of Korangi Baloch then missed a golden opportunity on one to one position in 89 minute that could have made Korangi Baloch snatch a win but the score remained 3-3 at the end.
The results leaves Kalri Star on 7 points from 4 games while have Korangi Baloch 8 points from 5 games.
