Burma Mohammadan destroy Irfan Memorial 9-0 in KUFL

The 9th Karachi United Football League 2011-12 saw Burma Mohammedan (Korangi) thrash fellow DFA East side Irfan Memorial (Landhi) a staggering 9-0 in their Super League encounter and moved into Semi Final yesterday, 24 April 2012, at the Baloch Mujahid Stadium, Ibrahim Hydri, Karachi.

The match saw left winger Mohammad Ayub smash in 4 goals against hapless Irfan Memorial. This was the current event’s 15th hat-trick and 2nd in Super League.

The 117th game of the current KUFL campaign saw Burma Mohammedan completely dominate hapless Irfan Memorial from the start as Irfan Memorial goalkeeper Saeed Alam was put under tremendous pressure. Jaffer Ullah scored first in 2 nd minute as he finished well from an Abdul Rahim pass to put Burma Mohammedan 1-0 up. Left wineger Mohammad Ayub then scored twice as well in the 12th and 14th minute. Imran Shakoor scored 4th goal for Burma in the 17 minute. Mohammad Ayub completed his hat-trick in the 19th minute while Imran Shakoor second goal in the 30th minute as Burma Mohammedan led 6-0 at the break.

In 2nd half, Burma Mohammedan scored 3 more goals. Mohammad Ayub’s 4th goal in the 49th minute making it 7-0. Abdul Rahim then scored twice in quick succession (65′, 67′) as the match ended a staggering 9-0 at the final whistle.

Referees were Babr Khan , Abdul Wahid and Mumtaz Baloch and Match Commissioner Abdul Karim. Both Burma Mohammedan and Irfan Memorial completed their quota of 7 matches. Burma Mohammedan have 11 points while Irfan Memorial have only one point.
