Hamara Karachi results, Engro Vopak League draws

The Hamara Karachi 7-a-side Football Festival 2012 at National Soccer Academy Ground in Paposh, Karachi saw the results of 2 games yesterday, 21 March 2012.

Islah Baloch (Old Golimar) beat Korangi Gymkhana 3-1 while Baloch Youth (Garden) also beat Malik Star (Orangi) 3-1 at the same venue to qualify for next round.

Islah Baloch won thanks to a brace from Aurangzeb (2′, 17′) and one from Aneel Jumma (39′), while Aneel Ansari (31′) scored for Korangi Gymkhana.

Baloch Youth won with goals from Talal Ayub (7′ and 25′) and Saramad Jaffar (11′), while only Sudam Khan managed for Malik Star.

Referees were Habib Ullah and Babar Khan, with match commissioner Abdul Karim.

The Engro Vopak Football League 2012 quarter-final draws were held yesterday, 21 March 2012, at DFA Malir office in front of officials from all 8 teams.

Irfan Memorial (Landhi) face home side Jam XI (Malir) on 24 March, Dilbod Mohammadan (Malir) face Azam Sports (Drigh Road) on 25 March, Baloch Mohammadan (Malir) face Askani Brothers (Baldia Town) on 26 March, while organisers FC Rovers (Malir Cantt) face Salar Welfare Centre (Malir) on 27 March.

Engro Vopak League organising secretary told that the games will be held for the regulatory 90 minutes with 3:30 PM kick off on each allotted day. In the event of a drawn score, the winner will be decided on penalties.

Newly elected Senate member from Balochistan, Yousaf Baloch, was congratulated by the Babul Sports (Lyari) officials for successfully winning his election to the Pakistani Senate.

Babul Sports supremo Haji Anwar Baloch, president Abdullah Baloch, vice-presidents Bashir Baloch, Saleh Baloch, and secretary Murad Bakhsh Baloch sent their congrats to Senator Yousaf Baloch, praising him as an honest and hardworking man.

The Babul Sports officials hoped that Yousaf Baloch can help solve the pending social problems faced across Balochistan.
