Pakistan Football Federation (PFF), in line with its emphasis on PFF Vision Plan 2020 and Youth Development Program has hosted PFF “D” Certificate Football Coaching Course for Region-2011 at Jinnah Stadium, Pakistan Sports Board in Islamabad on Tuesday, January 24, 2012. The 6-day coaching course was conducted by Shehzad Anwar as Instructor. Sajjad Mahmood acted as Assistant Instructor, Salah-ud-Din Awan, Refree Instructor and Course Coordinator Muhammad Zaman Khan.
According to the press release issued here by PFF, Dr. Fazal-ur-Rehman, President Islamabad Football Association (IFA) was a Chief Guest for closing ceremony and said on this occasion that “PFF is committed to providing football coaches, from beginner to most advance, with up-to-date theoretical, physical and practical knowledge for coaches from all regions i.e. Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) and Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) can ensure that players develop their skill to full potential”.
The Course will change the fortune of many participants and this will be a great opportunity for all of the Pakistani football coaches to come on board and take advantage of Shahzad Anwar’s coaching philosophy and experience. “There is so much happening in modern football and this course where video analysis and practical lessons are involved, helps to get an insight into the game,” added Shahzad Anwar.
Later on Chief Guest Dr. Fazal-ur-Rehman distributed certificates to Matti-ur-Rehman (Huma FC), Ali Agha (Islamabad Academy FC), Vaqas Ahmed (Islamabad Academy FC), Shafqat Ali Khan (Gilgit Baltistan FC), Muhammad Arslan Qureshi (Ghauri FC), Qaiser Ali (Quaid-e- Azam FC), Ghulam Fareed (Al-Qaim FC), Shafqat Munir Ahmed (Alfaisal FC), Misbah Ali (Baltistan FC), Mujahid Ghouri (Evergreen FC), M. Arslan Bin Zahoor (Islamabad FC), Shifat Ullah (Kiran FC), Naveed-ul-Hassan (Mehran FC), Nasir Ali (Youth Power FC), M. The PFF “D” Certificate Football Coaching Course for regions is designed to provide knowledge in football coaching for any individual regardless of coaching and playing background.
