Usmanabad Union get first KUFL campaign win

Usmanabad Union recorded a 2-0 win over Frontier City (Banaras) and to bag 3 points in the 9th UBL Omni  Karachi United Football League (KUFL) matched played at Aga Khan Gymkhana Garden West on Tuesday evening.

Usmanabad Union the first goal of the match through Mehboobur Rahman in the 36th minute and Mohammad Imran doubled the lead two minutes later (38’) to race to a2-0 lead over Frontier City at lemon time.

During the interval former International & Saff Games Gold Medalist and Vice President DFA Central Salim Patni introduced with the players while Mohammad Shamim & Adam Jan, Vice Presidents DFA Central, Chairman Referees West Ch. Israr, Organising Secretary Riaz Ahmed and others are also present on the occasion.

In the second half Frontier City kept on attaches to Usmananabad Union for leveling the score result of which a penalty kick awarded by the Referee Javed Iqbal to Frontier City but Zahid Khan missed the golden opportunity. Babar Ali of Usmanabad Union shown a Red Card due to serious foul play against the opponent  striker in the 76th minute. Usmanabad Union played remaining time with 10 players. However, they maintained their 2-0 lead at full time and got a first win in KUFL.

Usmanabad Union 4 points from 6 games while Frontier City not yet open their account from 4 games. Referees Javed Iqbal, Abdul Malik and Imran Ali while Abdul Karim was the Match Commissioner.
