Three more matches have been decided in the 9th UBL Omni Karachi United Football League 2011-12 being organized by Karachi United Football Foundation at Baloch Mujahid Stadium Ibrahim Hydri and CDGK Stadium here on Friday evening.
Karachi United FC hammered Muslim Star (Korangi) 11-0, defending champion Baloch Youth (Garden) defeated Frontier City (Banaras) 6-0 and Baloch Mohammedan (Malir) thrilling win against Baloch Mujahid (Ibrahim Hydri) 1-0.
The Baloch Mujahid Stadium in Ibrahim Hydri witnessed two group “B” games. Baloch Mohammedan Malir surprisingly win against favourate home team Baloch Mujahid 1-0. Decisive goal scored by International Nasim Akhtar on the header from corner kick taken by International Mohammad Umar for the winner.
At the same venue host side Karachi United FC hammered Muslim Star (Korangi) 11-0 that featured hat-trics from two different players, 4 goals scored by top scorer and star striker Rehan Munir (51’, 58’, 76’ & 88’) and Ather Qadri 3 goals (53’, 65’ & 89’ pk) helped KUFC on their way while Jamshed Omar (6’), Usman Iqbal (25’), Taha Alizai (68’) and Hamza Khan (83’) joined the fun with a goal each to register the 11-0 hammering and 3 points as well. Muslim Star remained at 2 points from 7 games.
Karachi United leader of Group ‘B’ with 14 points from 6 games, Baloch Mohammedan Malir 10 points from 6 games while Baloch Mujahid 3 points from 2 games.
At CDGK Stadium, defending champion Baloch Youth Garden consecutive win in a row last one easily win against Frontier City (Banaras) 6-0 and top of the table in Group ‘A’ with 9 points from 3 games while Frontier City no point as yet from 3 games. Captain and striker of Baloch Youth Talal Ayub netted two goals at half time (13’ & 23’). Four goals more scored in the second half Salamuddin (58;), Sarmad Jafer (66’), Ghulam Mohammad (68’) & Essa Lashari (90’).
Referees were Javed Bangash, Saeed Khan, Abdul Karim, Ahmed Mian, Imam Bakhsh & Abdul Malik while Abdul Karim and Iqbal Minhas were the Match Commissioners.
