KARACHI: Army defeated NBP 1-0 in the Pakistan Premier Football League at Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad, while PMC Athletico stunned KESC 2-1 at PMC Ground in Faisalabad. After a dull first-half, Shakeel Yousuf scored the winner for Army in the 79th minute.
Meanwhile, Athletico took the lead in the 35th minute through Mohammad Rashid’s goal, but KESC equalised in the 71st minute through Mohammad Rasool. Athletico had the last laugh as Naveed Mumtaz scored in the 82nd minute. The win gave PMC 3 vital points that could help them avoid relegation to PFF League
