The 9th UBL Omni Karachi United Football League 2011-12 saw 2 draws yesterday, 20 November 2011. At Korangi Baloch Stadium (Sharafi, Karachi) saw Group ‘B’ clash between Madina Shabaz (Baldia Town) draw Drigh Road Union 2-2, while Kalri Star (Lyari) were held 3-3 by Usmanabad Union in Group ‘A’.

The 26th game of the current KUFL campaign was the pulsating 2-2 draw between Madina Shabaz and Drigh Road Union. Nauman Khan gave Drigh Road Union the lead after 8 minutes as he headed past opposing goalkeeper Amjad Khan from a Faraz Gul corner-kick. However, Madina Shabaz struck back twice through Muhammad Asif (24′, 27′) as he made it 2-1. But Drigh Road Union made it 2-2 when Nauman Khan pounced on a fumble by Madina Shabaz goalkeeper Amjad to equalise in 40th minute as the game was tied at half time. In 2nd half, both sides kept on attacking but another goal proved elusive as the game finished 2-2 in the end with 1 point for each side.

The KMC Stadium hosted a nail-biting KUFL clash between two DFA South teams Kalri Star and Usmanabad Union. Fareed Baloch gave Kalri Star the lead after 20 minutes, but Muhammad Imran equalised for Usmanabad Union in 40th minute. Kalri Star responded by taking a 2-1 lead just before the breather thanks to a goal from Amir Baloch. Usmanabad Union again responded immediately at start of second half when Majid Baloch made it 2-2 in 46th minute. Amir Baloch scored again for Kalri Star to make it 3-2 in 53rd minute, but Usmanabad Union again was up to the task as they made it 3-3 in 77th minute through striker Muhammad Sohail as the game finished all-square at the end. However, the match finished in controversy as Kalri Star secretary Allah Bakhsh lodged a complaint with match commissioner Abdul Qayum over Usmanabad Union fielding an ineligible player.
