Kash Siddiqi plans Foundation for Asian footballers in UK

British-Pakistani PROFESSIONAL footballer Kashif Siddiqi has announced plans to launch his foundation which he hopes will inspire the next generation of Asian athletes.

Siddiqi, who has represented the Pakistan national team and played pro football in the USA and the Middle East, has made it his mission to tackle the under representation of the Asian community on the playing field.

He is hoping to raise awareness of opportunities for young Asian children to become elite athletes and has the backing of the Football Association, the Professional Footballers’ Association amongst other sporting bodies.

Kashif Siddiqi also featured in the recent FA’s Development Centre launch with help of Premier League club Queens Park Rangers (QPR) that aims to promote football and inter-community cooperation across England.
