The All-Karachi Founders of Baloch Mujahid Memorial Cup at Baloch Mujahid Stadium in Ibrahim Hyderi (Karachi) saw Azam Sports record a stunning 5-4 shoot-out win over Mauripur Baloch to qualify for quarter-finals. Azam Sports had initially taken a 2-0 lead by half-time thanks to 2 goals from Saleem Ullah. But Mauripur Baloch fought back to make it 2-2 at the end to force a penalty shoot-out, in which Azam Sports held their nerve to qualify for next round where they will face Tanzeem Sports.
Young Globe FC (DFA West) held a general congress meeting at the club premises that was presided over by Bacha Khan Mashwani. Club secretary Javed Khan presented the club’s annual performance report to the members of the congress, as well as passing a unanimous decision to rename the club from Young Globe FC to Lali Shaheed FC. The name change decision was also passed on to the relevant DFA West authorities to implement.
