Bangladesh looses friendly

Dhaka, BANGLADESH – Bangladesh national team has lost their friendly match against Malaysian Super League Negeri Sembilan by 2-3 goals at the Tunku Abdur Rahman Stadium. The match is been played in preparation for the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship which begins on 2nd December.

After the match, national team head coach Nikola Ilievski said he noted some faults in his team’s defence side during the play.

“Negeri Sembilan is a strong side and put pressure on our defence… they took the advantage as our defenders made some costly and silly mistakes,” he said.

However, at the end of the day, the result is not so bad, said the Macedonian.

Bangladesh team will play friendlies against a team of the second tier of I-League and against an I-League team in Kolkata prior to SAFF Championship.
