Gul Baloch Ground (Kala Board) saw hosts Gul Baloch FC beat Shabaz Mohammadan 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 score. Muhammad Nawaz gave Gul Baloch the lead after a superb effort, only for Yameen’s penalty helping Shabaz Mohammadan equalise in final moments of normal time to force penalties on which Gul Baloch prevailed.
The Korangi Baloch Stadium in Sharafi witnessed similar result with Jalal Murad coming from behind to hold Hyderi Sports (Ibrahim Hyderi) 1-1 and then win the match 4-3 on penalties. Wazir Ali’s goal seemed to be enough for Hyderi Sports only for Muhammad Qasim to equalise just before final whistle for Jalal Murad. Jalal Murad then held their nerve to win the shootout.
Shafi XI Stadium (Quaidabad) saw hosts Shafi XI destroy National Sporting (Landhi) 7-0 thanks to braces from Shakoor, Zafar, ad Ali, while Babar Rehman scored once. Al-Shazad Stadium (Jam Kunda) saw hosts Al-Shazad beat Noorani XI 3-0 thanks to goals from Ghulam Rasool, Faisal, and Naveed.
All winning sides went through to next round. Referees were Abdul Latif Sr., Aziz Pasha, Arif, and Saeed.
The All-Karachi Founders of Baloch Mujahid Cup at Baloch Mujahid Stadium in Ibrahim Hyderi saw Salaar Welfare Centre (Malir) beat former Sports 360 League champions Sharafi Mohammadan 1-0 in a pulsating tie thanks to Nawab Zainuddin’s solitary strike. The result meant Salaar Welfare went through to next round.
Referees were Iqrar Hussain, Saleem Raja, Chaudhry Sarfraz, and match commissioner Najeeb Baloch. On Tuesday (18 Oct 2011), Hunter Sports (Malir) face Gulshan Ittehad (Korangi).
The All Sindh Balochistan Ada Sher Muhammad Baloch Memorial Tournament saw the results of 5 games at Pak Baloch FC Ground (Garden West, Karachi). Three of those matches were decided by penalties. Frontier City (Banaras) beat Baloch Union (Jehangir Road) 5-3 in shootout after 1-1 draw. Shahid Hussain scored for Frontier City while Asim Faiz scored for Baloch Union in normal time. Sky Sports (Jehangir Road) also beat Orangi Mohammadan 5-3 on penalties after 1-1 draw with goals from Imran (Sky Sports) and Jamil (Orangi Mohd.).
Lyari Star beat Mauripur Baloch 5-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw. Jeay Lal (DFA Central) beat Karachi Kickers (Lyari) 3-2 in an exciting game. Arif scored 2 and Yasir scored once for Jeay Lal while Nabeel scored twice for Karachi Kickers. Islah Sports (Old Golimar) beat Karachi Mohammadan (Lyari) 1-0 thanks to Mohsin Iqbal’s lone goal.
