The group stage of the 7th National Women Championship 2011, being held at Jinnah Stadium PSB in Islamabad, drew to a close yesterday 25 Sept 2011.
In final group games, WAPDA were held 1-1 by Sindh while Balochistan United WFC hammered AJK 12-0 in Group C as both winners qualified for next round.
In Group B, Higher Education Commission (HEC) recorded a 1-0 win over Sports Sciences to top their group as both sides qualified for quarter-finals. In the dead rubber game of the group between Model Town WFC and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with a 1-0 win by KPK over MTWFC.
