19th August Friday, it was expected to be a football filled day but once again due to the conditions of the city, only two match were able to get results in the 6th GSA D-Goal Ramazan Cup 2011. Also pictured today are the SSUET young guns boasting Israr Khan who has represented Sindh at the under 16 level.
Champions Bafana continued there march towards a second straight title as they beat FC Rizvia after a tough match. FC Rizvia dominated the early proceedings and took the lead through the ever brilliant Murtaza Naqvi. The lead almost lasted till the half but Kashif Zafar struck the equalizer. In the second half a super performance from Kashif Ali who is also one of the leading scorers in the Central District of Karachi Football inspired Bafana through. Kashif Zafar pictured above did grab his second as well before the end of the game. 4-1 the final score.
The NUFC and Majid Shaheed Reds fixture is rescheduled.
Finally in the last fixture Aziz Sports were to take on Sindh Balochistan but due to unrest in the city Sindh Balochistan have choosen not to participate further thus Aziz Sports also booked the spot in the quarters.
