Nas Bashir, 41 years old, has been appointed the new manager of Hayes and Yeading United, a west London side which gained promotion from the Blue Square Bet Premier division.
He is the only UEFA Pro License coach with Pakistani roots worldwide. With Rehan Mirza we have another good coach based in the UK. He currently holds the UEFA B License.
Prior his new appointment Bashir was Academy coach at Reading FC based at Bisham Abbey in Buckinghamshire.
In a small statement Bashir is proud about his new job:
“I’m really looking forward to the opportunity. It’s a great chance for me to build upon my reputation and be part of developing a club that has a very exciting future.”
The young coach has coaching experience with Wycombe and England Under-21s and U-19s.
A statement on the club website read: “As one of the brightest young coaches in the national game, the club hope Bashir’s appointment sends out a message of intention to the football world that Hayes and Yeading United Football Club continue to build and work towards their goal of becoming a Football League club.”
We at FootballPakistan.Com want to congratulate him on his new appointment and we wish to see him help football in Pakistan develop.
