All-Sindh Benazir Cup: Jamshoro FC beat Sindhri FC Johi 5-2

The Govt. Degree College Ground in Dadu witnessed Jamshoro FC beat Sindhri FC Johi (Dadu) a resounding 5-2 to qualify for next round of the All-Sindh Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Football Cup on 15.06.2011. Sumair Baloch scored twice while Yahya Baloch, Muhammad Baloch, and Arif Baloch scored once each for Jamshoro FC while Jameel and Javed Ali scored once for Sindhri FC Johi.

The game got off to a breathtaking start as the youthful Sindhri FC took a 13th minute lead through striker Muhammad Jameel. However, Sumair Baloch equalised 6 minutes later, before Yahya Baloch made it 2-1 in favour of Jamshoro FC with a 28th minute penalty before half time.

In 2nd half, Jamshoro FC settled well and dominated the game as man of the match Muhammad Baloch made it 3-1 in 38th minute with a superbly taken goal. Sindhri FC won a penalty in 40th minute, which was duly dispatched by Javed Ali to reduce the deficit to 3-2. But Arif Baloch made it 4-2 to Jamshoro in 57th minute before Sumair Baloch scored his second of the game and made it a decisive 5-2 in favour of his side just before the final whistle.

Jamshoro FC now go through to the next round where they will face tournament hosts Makhdoom Bilawal Shaheed FC (Dadu) on Saturday, 18 June 2011.

Referees were Saeed Baloch, Niaz Baloch, and Abdul Hameed, while match commissioner was Eid Muhammad Jamali. The match was attended by sports promoter Shakeel Shah and Nabi Bakhsh Jamali as chief guests.
