Sindh Sports Board officials praise Karachi United Foundation on visit

Sindh Sports Board adviser Raziq H. Rabbani visited the Karachi United Football Foundation (KUFF) North Nazimabad Centre at the National Soccer Academy Ground in Paposh, Karachi. He praised KUFF’s initiative of providing good level coaching to young kids to help them become great footballers that can make Pakistan proud in the future.

He also reserved some special thanks to KUFF administrator Riaz Ahmed and head coach Arshad Jamal for having a leading role in KUFF’s pursuit towards grassroots development of football in Karachi. Raziq Rabbani also encouraged KUFF administration to organise an Inter-Academies Football Tournament at the NSA Ground in the summer vacations and promised the full backing of Sindh Sports Board in this regard.

The SSB advisor stated that the Sindh Provincial Government wants to uplift sports – especially football – for the benefit of the youth of the province, allowing them to have a healthy lifestyle away from the many social ills that often plague them.

Also present at the occasion were SSB officials Saleem and Anjum, ADO Revenue for CDGK Mushtaq Ahmed, journalist and Sindh Olympic Association general congress member Farzana Khanum, football organiser Master Riasat Ali (Nawabshah), ex-member Central Zone FA Abdul Karim, internationals Syed Sultan Ali (PIA), Mohsin Shah (KPT), M. Faiz (HBL), M. Asif, Khalid Majeed, et al.

The KUFF representatives Riaz Ahmed and Arshad Jamal thanked the SSB officials for their visit to their North Nazimabad Centre, and declared their full support to SSB for all sports-related activties planned.
