The new alliance between the PPP and PML-Q political parties in the National Assembly meant the appointments of many PML-Q big guns as new Federal Ministers and members of the cabinet of Prime Minister, Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani.
One of the new Federal Ministers is veteran politician from PML-Q and President of Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) , Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat. Among the first to congratulate Faisal Saleh Hayat’s return to Federal Ministry was the newly elected officials of the Sindh Football Association (SFA).
The new SFA President Syed Khadim Ali Shah Bukhari, offered his congrats to Faisal Saleh Hayat. The SFA supremo, who also holds the Vice President posts at both the PFF and South Asian Football Federation (SAFF), wished Faisal Saleh Hayat all the best and hoped that he will perform his national duties as a federal minister with full dignity and commitment like his previous stints in governments over the last 20 years.
Faisal Saleh Hayat is also a senior member of the AFC Legal & Disciplinary Committees as well as of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, and was elected to AFC Executive Committee during AFC General Congress in January 2011.
The SFA President has hailed Faisal Saleh Hayat as a model parliamentarian possessing immense leadership, charisma, insight, and dedication to his tasks; be it either in government or as the PFF President.
Other SFA members and other Sindh-based football fraternity added in their congrats to Faisal Saleh Hayat.
