Hosted by Frontier Mujahid FC (Zone West), the All-Karachi Hakeem Khan Mandokhel Memorial Football Tournament saw FC Rovers (Malir) beat Khyber Sports (Pak Colony) 2-1 after a tough contest at Azad Shaheen Ground near Kulsoom Bai Valika Hospital in SITE, Karachi.
Sikander Butt gave FC Rovers 1-0 lead before half time after scoring in 24th minute by beating two defenders with skill. However, Khyber Sports came back strongly in 2nd half and equalised through Adnan Khan in 56th minute from an Ajab Khan cross.
But just 5 minutes before the end of the game striker Hamza Shahid gave FC Rovers a 2-1 lead from a through ball by midfielder Ammar Sharif, as the Malir club went through to next round.
Referee was Sameen Khan with media coordinator Abdul Karim, former member Central Zone.
