PMC Athletico Faisalabad’s dynamic member Chaudry Asmatullah has become the Vice President of the Punjab Football Referees Association. He has been a driving force behind Athletico’s push towards Pakistani club football dominance and was an integral member of the Challenge Cup organizing committee which arranged the NBP Challenge Cup last month.

When contacted Ch. Asmatullah said, ”It is a great honour for me to get this place in the association and I will make sure no stone is left unturned in the drive for referee rights and uplift in the Punjab region. A referee is not only the in-charge of a football game, he is responsible for its smooth flow and sporting nature. Great referees like Colina make the game even more beautiful. The profession needs protection and respect and we will ensure our all effort in this regard.”

Special felicitations were sent out by PMC Athletico President Rai Saif Ur Rehman Bhatti, DFA Faisalabad boss Lt. Col Ijaz Ul Haq, DFA Secretary Aslam Butt, Athletico Media Manager Waheed Nagra among other members of the Pakistani Football Community.
